The Mid-Level Talent Acquisition Specialist SkillBridge Program provides transitioning Service Members with structured, hands-on training in technical talent acquisition and federal government recruiting within a fast-paced government contracting environment. Participants will work alongside experienced Talent Acquisition professionals to learn the full recruiting lifecycle, including candidate sourcing, resume review, applicant tracking systems, interview coordination, hiring manager partnership, and recruiting process improvement. Throughout the program, participants will gain practical experience supporting the recruitment of professionals in information technology, cybersecurity, software engineering, data engineering, cloud, program management, and corporate support roles. They will also develop an understanding of government contracting, federal hiring practices, recruiting technologies, and workforce planning while receiving mentorship, coaching, and progressively increasing responsibilities. This SkillBridge opportunity is designed for active-duty Service Members seeking to transition into civilian careers in Talent Acquisition, Technical Recruiting, Human Resources, or federal government contracting. Upon successful completion, participants will have completed approximately 640 hours of structured training and practical experience that prepares them for technical recruiting positions supporting government and commercial organizations.

They will also learn government contracting recruiting practices, recruiting technologies, workforce planning, and recruiting metrics through structured training and mentorship.This program is designed for Service Members interested in transitioning into civilian careers in Talent Acquisition, Technical Recruiting, Human Resources, or federal government contracting. Upon successful completion, participants will have gained practical experience and industry knowledge that prepares them for a career in technical recruiting.
Must meet all DoD SkillBridge eligibility requirements and receive command approval. Active-duty U.S. Service Member. U.S. Citizen.Strong interest in Talent Acquisition, Technical Recruiting, Human Resources, or federal government contracting. Demonstrated professionalism, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a hybrid environment if assigned to the Northern Virginia office. Ability to obtain a Public Trust or Secret security clearance for future employment, if required.

• Current active-duty service member eligible to participate in the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program.• Demonstrated leadership experience, including coordinating personnel, managing assignments, maintaining accountability, or keeping teams and projects on schedule.• Experience supporting military, government, operational, administrative, recruiting, customer service, medical, cybersecurity, logistics, or other mission-focused environments.• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.• Resourceful problem solver.• Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and technologies.• Strong organizational, time-management, and follow-through skills.• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.• Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, quality, teamwork, and an inclusive workplace.• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
