Holt CAT in Texas is looking for a Heavy Equipment Shop Technicians. This position is responsible for providing high-quality repair service on heavy equipment in a shop environment, in order to respond to customer needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner and to ensure maximum value for work performed. Locations vary in Texas from the Red River to the Rio Grande River to north east Texas. A qualified candidate must have the following skills or abilities:Must be able to Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs correctly in the shop such as pumps, hydraulic, engine, transmissions, HVAC, and electrical issues and repairs.At least 3 years of dirt moving equipment troubleshooting and repair skills of heavy equipment such as dozers, backhoes, front-end loaders, excavators, etc.Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment using electronic and manual equipment to determine failure. CAT ET & CAT SiS 2.0 knowledge preferredAble to document all work orders properlyMust be able to troubleshoot and diagnose Tier 4 systems. GED or High School Diploma PreferredDiesel Tech Schooling is highly desired.Must have steady employment.Must have a valid drivers' license Must have the ability to obtain a forklift license.Ability to frequently reach, bend, walk, etc.Must be able to lift 50# approximately 5 times a day.Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy are required.Excellent attendance is required.Must be able to work Mon-Friday; 7 AM-4 PM. Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with a high energy level.Ability to work with limited supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

- At least 3 years of dirt moving equipment troubleshooting and repair skills of heavy equipment such as dozers, backhoes, front-end loaders, excavators, etc.

- CAT ET & CAT SiS 2.0 knowledge preferred.
- Able to document all work orders properly.
