TTI Environmental, Inc. is an integrated environmental services contractor and consulting firm. TTI services government, industrial, commercial, academic, financial, and private clients nationwide and is headquartered in Moorestown, New Jersey. TTI is seeking a full-time Indoor Sciences Field Technician to join our Industrial Hygiene Division.
Responsibilities • Inspection and on-site monitoring for asbestos, mold, lead paint, and indoor air quality• Conduct detailed surveys requiring attention to specific building components and systems• Conduct on-site oversight of abatement projects and collection of samples• Maintain, operate, and calibrate a variety of sampling and monitoring equipment• Collect project details requiring excellent note taking• Timeliness, time management, ability to meet deadlines, and responsiveness to emergencies is vital• Assignments are of varying complexity and under direction of a project managerSkills & Qualifications• Knowledge of general building mechanical systems and building construction• Exhibit clear, concise verbal and written communication skills• General computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment• Exceptional safety and quality awareness• Independent thinking and self-motivation are essential
