Alliance Chaplain Ministries (ACM) is seeking a transitioning service member through the DoD SkillBridge program to serve as a Grant Project Manager and Non-Profit Organization Intern. This unique opportunity allows the candidate to contribute to a growing ministry that supports military and federal chaplaincies by equipping, advocating, and seeking financial assistance for applicants for Alliance seminarians and clergy on a chaplain pursuit. The program format consists of a 60-day internship working directly with the Executive Director of ACM. The Intern will provide program organization, denominational representation, and pastoral care to ACM’s Chaplains, Chaplain Candidates, and their families. The candidate will also represent their interests to the broader Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) denomination.
Key responsibilities include:• Screening eligible seminarian candidates based on financial need.• Identifying and engaging with grant-offering organizations, foundations, and philanthropists.• Managing grant applications and coordinating funding distribution to support seminary education.• Recruiting and onboarding potential chaplain applicants.• Providing pastoral care and strategic organizational planning.• Assisting in the development of training events and sharing the mission and vision of the C&MA Chaplaincy.• Participating in regular meetings with C&MA denominational staff to foster collaboration and alignment.
