The HR Strategist role prepares service members for a People Operations role by exposing them to organizational operations, stakeholder engagement, and professional services delivery in a civilian environment. Working alongside the People Operations department, this role supports active recruitment of future interns and employees, assists with retention initiatives for current employees, and contributes to the execution of People Operations programs.
The HR Strategist position will assist with screening candidates for company positions, participate in onboarding and offboarding processes, support HR ticketing and operational workflows, and contribute to internship programming and company learning and organizational development initiatives. The role is designed to help service members translate military experience into effective civilian human resources work.
