Treasure Wellness Counseling and Training Center
Our internship program is divided up into three internship sections. Each section has a minimum experience requirement to be completed. Also, each section (I, II, and III) has specific expectations to be met. TWCTC internship program is twenty to thirty hours a week intensive experience of training in counseling, including individual, couple, family, and group therapy experiences, and ten to twenty hours related to coursework required by the intern's university, including classes, research, consultation, report writing, dissemination of research findings, presentations, and various assignments. This totals a minimum of 40 hours a week. The internship program is ideal for individuals wishing to work in private practice, community mental health or faith-based related agencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Facilitate at least one TWCTC Weekend Workshop
- Build individual case load to 8-10 weekly billable client hours
- Participate in a minimum of one community marketing opportunity offered by TWCTC
- Scheduled one hour weekly triadic supervision with onsite supervisor
- Participation in scheduled weekly internship staffing which includes one video case presentation, one intervention presentation, and one scholarly journal dissemination
- Participation in scheduled monthly TWCTC staff meetings
QUALIFICATIONS
- Enrollment in Masters of Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy program
- Completion of Pre-Practicum course at University
