The IT Support Specialist role prepares service members for IT support work by providing hands on exposure to enterprise systems, security protocols, incident response processes, and end user support operations in a civilian organization. Working alongside the Technical Operations department, this role supports core helpdesk and user support functions, access and identity management, systems and device support, network and infrastructure assistance, documentation, and process improvement efforts.
The IT Support Specialist will assist with resolving user issues, supporting IT operations workflows, maintaining security awareness, and contributing to operational efficiency while gaining exposure to real world civilian IT environments.
