The Certificate as Computer Technician program provides the foundational skills required to install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain computer systems in business environments. Students build confidence as they learn career-ready hands-on skills in hardware, software and operating systems.During the CIAT SkillBridge Certificate as Computer Technician program, service members will have the opportunity to earn up to 2 industry certifications including: -CompTIA Tech+-CompTIA A+ *CIAT's one-of-a-kind unlimited certification exam policy covers all costs associated with industry certification exam fees and retakes, ensuring the service member keeps their focus on reaching their employment goals.
Service members completing CIAT's Certificate as Computer Technician SkillBridge program will be prepared for a variety of employment opportunities such as: Help Desk Technician, PC Technician, Technical Support Specialist, IT Customer Support Technician, Tier I IT Support Specialist, and Service Desk Analyst and more. CIAT's academic and career services teams will help support service members with end-to-end employment readiness skills including technical training, industry certification preparation, resume building, interviewing, corporate networking, and more.

California Institute of Applied Technology (CIAT) is dedicated to ensuring that participants in the CIAT SkillBridge program do not incur any 'out of pocket' expenses. To achieve this, all active duty service members receive a discounted tuition rate and a CIAT SkillBridge Scholarship, which will be automatically applied to cover any costs not covered by the GI Bill and Active-Duty Tuition Assistance. All service members participating in CIAT's SkillBridge program will do so with $0 cost out of pocket.
