Management Analysts analyze, administer, and ensure accountability for a wide range of administrative and management functions within the region. They serve as liaisons between the regional office, national Office of the Solicitor (SOL), and other internal and external organizations on management matters that do not require legal expertise. They also assist higher-graded analysts by monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on procurement, payroll, training, and transportation activities using data on administrative and program management information systems.In this role, SkillBridge participants will have the opportunity to work closely with regional leadership on real financial, HR, and operational projects that keep our offices running. You’ll help with day to day budget work—reviewing spending, tracking accounts, preparing analyses, and supporting decisions about how best to allocate resources to meet program needs. You’ll also partner with our HR teams, gaining exposure to staffing discussions, recruitment efforts, workforce planning, and labor management interactions. On the management side, you may assist with contracting actions, vendor coordination, space planning, records management, and other operational services that keep the region functioning. The work is hands on, mission focused, and offers a broad view of how a federal legal office supports its people, its budget, and its operations.

This SkillBridge opportunity is available exclusively to active-duty service members who are within their final 180 days of service and have received approval from their chain of command and installation Transition Assistance Program (TAP) office. Participation in this program is conducted under the Department of Defense SkillBridge authority; service members remain on active-duty status and are not federal employees of the Department of Labor during the training period. No compensation is provided by the Department of Labor.Participation in this program does not guarantee federal employment upon completion.
