We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level HVAC Technician to join our team. This role involves assisting in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. As an HVAC Technician, you'll work under the guidance of experienced technicians to ensure the proper functioning of HVAC systems in various environments. A background in or familiarity with mechanical systems or HVAC is beneficial.

ABOUT THE JOB

Module 1: -Onboarding -NATE training -Human Comfort and System Selection, Heat Transfer and Basic Refrigeration Cycle -Perform preventative maintenance on various types of equipment with a Senior Technician -Proficient in filter changes Module 2: -NATE training - Systems Components learning module and exam -Continue filter changes and preventative maintenance on various systems -Attend central plant classes on Wednesday mornings -Proficient with belt and coil changes Module 3: -NATE training -Continue to perform filter, belt, and coil changes - Electrical components with test -Can safely and properly shut down equipment -Work with the dedicated Service Team – troubleshooting and repairing existing equipment Module 4: -NATE training - Installation guides and reading electrical schematics -Work autonomously performing preventative maintenance on various HVAC systems Outcome: -Have an understanding of various HVAC on how they work and different components -Ability to work independently to perform filter, belt, and coil replacements- -Have a basic understanding of HVAC system operations

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on various types of equipment with a Senior Technician.
  • Continue filter changes and preventative maintenance on various systems.
  • Work autonomously performing preventative maintenance on various HVAC systems.
  • Work with the dedicated Service Team – troubleshooting and repairing existing equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Background in or familiarity with mechanical systems or HVAC is beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently to perform filter, belt, and coil replacements.
  • Have a basic understanding of HVAC system operations.
