The objective of this program is to ensure the participant is trained and equipped with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to support supply chain operations, procurement activities, inventory management, logistics coordination, and production support within a defense technology environment. The intern will develop practical experience managing high-volume micro-component inventories, coordinating vendor relationships, maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs), supporting production workflows, and mitigating supply chain risks while translating military logistics and operational leadership into civilian supply chain management environments.
We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to own the lifecycle of our components from the initial RFQ to the assembly line. In this role, you will manage the unique paradox of our manufacturing process: the physical components are microscopic, but the volumes are massive. You will manage orders ranging from 100 to 500+ specialized connectors and microchips at a time, ensuring zero downtime for our production team. You will work hand-in-hand with our Technical Project Manager and engineering teams to forecast lead times, source high-volume replacements, and build comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOM) that will power our scaling production line.
