This role is designed to help you transition your military leadership experience into the civilian private sector. As the Team Excellence Lead and Leadership Coach, you will leverage the skills developed through your military service to motivate, develop, and strengthen an already high-performing wealth management team. The position is intended for senior military leaders, with consideration limited to Senior NCOs, Chief Warrant Officers, and Field Grade Officers and above (E7–E9, W2–W5, O4+).You will gain exposure to the financial services industry and the broader management structure within a top-performing wealth management firm. Following the internship, potential transition paths may include wealth advisory production—upon meeting all required qualifications—or branch management and compliance roles, also subject to qualifications.
This hybrid role, with approximately half of the schedule spent in the office, focuses on developing both individual team members and the team as a whole through consistent 1:1 coaching, group sessions, and other proven leadership strategies. The position is responsible for ongoing performance and professional development, fostering a high-engagement culture, and strengthening overall team effectiveness. It also supports enhanced executive leadership engagement by facilitating thoughtful, strategic discussions and by reviewing and reinforcing the organization’s strategic plan, vision, and mission to ensure alignment across the team. In addition, the role participates in directed client events as part of the team, helping reinforce relationships and represent the firm’s values and leadership presence.
