Wind Technician, Vestas American Wind Technology
The Vestas training program provides an education on the rapidly growing wind industry. Participants will learn working at heights safety, wind turbine operation, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures. The curriculum will consist of 3 weeks of formal classroom training in Portland, OR, and 4 to 8 weeks of OJT on an operating wind park.

ABOUT THE JOB
Vestas American Wind Technoloy is actively hiring to support the high demand for wind technicians throughout the country. Technicians will focus on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and learn to operate and troubleshoot wind turbines.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Troubleshoot wind turbines
- Perform installation and maintenance procedures for wind turbines
QUALIFICATIONS
- Drivers license
- Clean driving record
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to lift 50lbs
