This internship provides hands-on training in the installation and maintenance of rainwater control systems, such as gutters and downspouts. Interns will also gain practical experience in the implementation of foundational drainage solutions to protect the facility's structural integrity. This role is designed to foster a comprehensive understanding of facility upkeep, including preventative maintenance, system troubleshooting, and general repairs.
Participants in this program will receive in-depth training on the operation, routine maintenance, and repair of industrial roll-forming machinery. The curriculum covers the complete fabrication lifecycle, from transforming raw materials into custom-formed downspouts to the professional installation of comprehensive drainage systems. Trainees will also develop diagnostic and repair skills for existing rainwater management systems. A key component of this internship involves mastering on-site assessment techniques to produce accurate project estimates and prepare competitive bids for contractual work.
