This immersive program builds foundational skills in collision repair, with the goal of preparing participants for future Lead Technician roles.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Vehicle disassembly/reassembly and plastic repair
- Minor and complex dent repair, metal reshaping, and filler application
- Structural damage identification and repair setup
- MIG welding on steel and I-CAR weld certification preparation
- Safe use of tools, measuring systems, and repair procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
- Mechanical aptitude and a strong desire to learn
- Commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Active-duty service member eligible for SkillBridge
- 18 years or older
- Able to work full-time (40 hours/week) for 25 weeks
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Mechanical or vehicle repair background is a plus
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY
Requirements:• Active-duty service member eligible for SkillBridge• 18 years or older• Able to work full-time (40 hours/week) for 25 weeks• Valid driver’s license• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods• High school diploma or GED preferred• Mechanical or vehicle repair background is a plus

OTHER
We have multiple locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth area a program participant can work in. Our program pairs each apprentice with an experienced mentor, typically someone with several years of industry experience, to guide them throughout their training. Mentors assess the apprentices’ existing skill sets and help determine if they already possess the competencies required for certain aspects of the training.
