Participants will be in a two phase 26 week training program. Phase one is seven weeks of learning the business side of gym management. During this phase the participant will spend time learning facility management, marketing, customer service, membership sales, and data analysis.Phase two is 19 weeks of coaching training. during this phase the participant will learn two methods of motor skill development. Traditional Drilling and Constraints Lead Approach. They will also learn how to apply these methods to different populations at different stages of learning. Additionally this phase will learn how to lead members through thoughtfully designed safe training sessions. The final component of the coaching phase will be training for competition and post competition analysis and feedback.
Job duties will include but are not limited to the following:Front Desk: greet members upon entry, give tours of the facility to prospective members, explain membership plans to prospective members, enroll new members into the database, track member attendance, inventory merchandise and perform transactions with customers.Coaching: greet members before class, have lesson plans prepared before each session, supervise class participants and provide feedback, develop and maintain a positive, fun, and safe training environment for all members. Coach members during competitions, analyse competition videos with competitors and provide feedback. Develop training plans for next competitions.Facilities Management: ensure cleanliness and safety of facility on a daily basis, clean, fully stock, and sanitize locker rooms and toilets, maintain gym equipment.
Hold the rank of brown belt or higher.
