Warren CAT is an authorized SkillBridge partner offering an 8-week, full-time Engine Technician training program. Participants receive structured, supervised, hands-on training servicing Caterpillar diesel and natural gas engines in a professional service environment. This program prepares transitioning Service Members for entry-level engine technician careers supporting construction, energy, and industrial operations.
The Engine Technician Trainee performs supervised preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and component service on Caterpillar engines. Training includes exposure to fuel, air, cooling, lubrication, and electrical systems, along with safe shop practices and technical documentation procedures.Participants train approximately 40 hours per week alongside experienced senior technicians. Training emphasizes safety, technical competency development, professional conduct, and readiness for civilian employment.Successful completion may lead to consideration for full-time employment following military separation, based on performance and business needs.
