As a Field Service Engineer at Boston Dynamics, you will be a crucial part of a small, fast-moving robotics team, leading the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting efforts for our advanced robotic systems, with a strong emphasis on complex electrical systems. You will provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and drive continuous improvement in our repair processes. This role involves hands-on work on prototype electrical system designs, dense electromechanical integrations, and lab building and debugging, ranging from small test systems to fully integrated prototype robots. You must be able to work quickly, adapt to evolving technical challenges, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Lead and execute the repair and maintenance of complex prototype electromechanical sub-assemblies, including computers, sensors, and processors for robotic systems. Troubleshoot and identify electrical system failures in sub-assemblies and complete robots.
