Laramie County Community College CDL Program

This program provides the training required for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Upon successful completion students will take a State/Federally approved examination for their Class A CDL license.

ABOUT THE JOB

Students are required to attend class daily, per published class schedule. Class is broken into two parts. Students first complete the online portion of training and acquire their permits. They will then be scheduled to attend in-person behind-the-wheel training on campus. Upon successful completion they will test for their CDL. Successfully passing exam will enable them to acquire their CDL and enter the workforce.

RESPONSIBILITIES✨

• Attend class daily as per the published class schedule.

• Successfully pass the State/Federally approved examination for Class A CDL.

QUALIFICATIONS✨

• Must submit Driver's License.
• Must submit Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Must submit DOT Physical.
• Must submit DOT Pre-Employment Drug Screen.
• Must acknowledge compliance with 49 CFR Part 383.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY

Must submit all required enrollment documentation: Driver's License, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), DOT Physical, DOT Pre-Employment Drug Screen and form acknowledging compliance with 49 CFR Part 383.
