Henkel Internship
Henkel relies on automation team to ensure that plant equipment and facilities are kept in working order by utilizing troubleshooting skills to diagnose and maintain all controls components. Work group is also responsible to assist, create and update both programs and graphics for new projects as well as ongoing projects/production needs.
ABOUT THE JOB
Automation technicians ensure all production equipment is safely functioning at its highest efficiency by resolving downtime issues, improving performance and reducing scrap. Technicians perform electrical/control based preventative maintenance tasks as well as provide leadership/facilitation in trouble shooting automation programming software. Additionally, technicians train operators and maintenance on basic operations and troubleshooting of equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure all production equipment is safely functioning at its highest efficiency by resolving downtime issues, improving performance, and reducing scrap.
- Perform electrical/control based preventative maintenance tasks.
- Provide leadership/facilitation in troubleshooting automation programming software.
- Train operators and maintenance personnel on basic operations and troubleshooting of equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and maintain all controls components.
- Ability to assist, create, and update both programs and graphics for new and ongoing projects/production needs.
