This SkillBridge program provides hands-on DevOps engineering experience within a real-world enterprise environment. Participants will gain exposure to modern cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and best practices for secure, scalable deployments.This is a full-time training program designed to prepare Service Members for civilian DevOps roles upon separation. APAC Time zone: Japan/Korea preferred.
Training Focus: DevOps fundamentals with hands-on exposure to Linux, Python scripting, cloud basics, automation, and CI/CD.Training Instructions (High-Level):Learn Linux fundamentals, including system navigation, permissions, services, and basic troubleshooting.Develop Python scripts for automating routine DevOps tasks.Receive guided training on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and basic infrastructure concepts.Assist with creating or maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins.Participate in team standups, code reviews, and project discussions under direct mentorship.Complete a small final project demonstrating improvements in automation, monitoring, or deployment workflows.Duration: 90–180 days (full time), remote or base-supported regions (US, Guam, etc.)Supervision: Weekly mentorship meetings + ongoing guidance from senior DevOps leader(s)
