LEAD VTC Technician - Support conference rooms, classrooms, lecture halls and auditorium. Duties to include maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing minor issues involving presentation PCs. Extron Video teleconference and secure video teleconference management, course research, and conference support, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repair of classroom equipment
ABOUT THE JOB
Support Office duties require knowledge of Microsoft Office programs to complete reports and spreadsheets. Travel to and from all ATF properties within Huntsville city limits, to include several explosive ranges, are required daily, therefore, the incumbent shall possess a driver’s license and the ability to follow explosive safety requirements. Job duties will be performed inside and outside during normal business hours.Minimum Experience: a. Working knowledge of Extron based Audio/Video and teleconference systems with a minimum of two years’ experience. b. Maintain, diagnosis and repair minor issues involving presentation PC’s. c. Keep classroom Crestron systems up and running, preform trouble shooting as needed, prepare, position, operate and maintain video-teleconference systems. d. Crestron Programming Certification shall be obtained within 12 months from the effective date of the contract to serve as back up for the AV Programmer and be able to perform minor programming corrections. e. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products f. Shall be able to multi-task in a high stress environment. g. Demonstrated the ability to provide superior customer service and use political tact in professional dealings. h. Follow directions regarding explosive safety requirements j. Shall possess a driver’s license and qualify for a Redstone badge. TSC will provide Senior AV/VTC Programmer to coach with getting or maintain industry AV/VTC certifications.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Working knowledge of Extron based Audio/Video and teleconference systems with a minimum of two years’ experience.
- Ability to maintain, diagnose, and repair minor issues involving presentation PCs.
- Keep classroom Crestron systems operational, perform troubleshooting, prepare, position, operate, and maintain video-teleconference systems.
- Obtain Crestron Programming Certification within 12 months from the effective date of the contract.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
