Fellows will gain hands-onexperience supporting project teams in the planning, design, and delivery of systems that improve community watermanagement and sustainability.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Direction Perform work under direct supervision of an experienced professional and follow established procedures andclearly defined processes. Seek feedback and guidance to ensure consistent growth and quality results.At the Operational and Company Level Collaborate with peers and multiple departments across the organization to support ongoing initiatives. Participate fully in Skill Bridge learning and development activities designed to enhance technical, professional,and leadership competencies. Uphold company standards and values in all interactions with internal teams, clients, and external partners.Do the Work Assist project teams with a variety of tasks related to the Fellow’s assigned department or discipline. Apply problem-solving skills and initiative to support project goals and deliverables. Conduct research, prepare reports or documentation, and contribute to team meetings and planning efforts. Take ownership of learning new systems, processes, and tools necessary for success in the civilian workplace.Success Metrics and CompetenciesIdeal candidate will consistently demonstrate… Willingness and eagerness to learn. Aspirations to grow professionally and advance within the company.Education, Work Experience, Licensure/Certifications, and Technical Requirements Active-duty service member, approved for DoD Skill Bridge participation. Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) or equivalent military training/experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Physical Demands and Working Environment Partially indoor professional office environment which may include exposure to bright/dim light, noise, fumes,odors, and traffic. Partially outdoor work environment which may include exposure to adverse weather conditions, varyingtemperatures, excessive noise, and/or potential hazards. Mobility around an office environment. Frequent and prolonged use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filingcabinets and fax machines. Mobility around a job/construction site to include walking, bending, crawling, climbing, squatting, or kneelingand wearing of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Primarily local travel during the business day. Occasional lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds. Occasional pushing or pulling up to 50 pounds. Occasional reaching outward or above shoulder
