Tier 1 Fire Protection, LLC

Intern Extinguisher Technicians will learn how to become extinguisher technicians in the civilian sector. Training includes hands on training with a certified technician on real job sites. Desired outcome will be certification through the state and real-world experience.

ABOUT THE JOB

Weeks: 1-6 intern will ride with a certified technician observing and learning how to service and inspect fire extinguishers. Weeks: 7-12 interns will complete inspections and service work under the direct supervision of a certified technician. Weeks: 13-20 interns will be sponsored through the state of TN to take the Extinguisher Technician License Certification.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Weeks 1-6: Observe and learn how to service and inspect fire extinguishers under the guidance of a certified technician.
• Weeks 7-12: Complete inspections and service work under the direct supervision of a certified technician.
• Weeks 13-20: Undertake certification process for the Extinguisher Technician License Certification sponsored by the state of TN.
