Training provided towards that of a Maritime Preparedness Specialist
Work with senior subject matter expertise and technical support for the Coast Guard’s Preparedness Program including contingency exercises and planning. Exposure includes oversight for the development of contingency plans, exercises, after action reporting and the development of lessons learned. Conception, planning, coordination, and execution of all hazard/all threats contingencies including but not limited to: Area Maritime Security Planning (AMSP); Area Contingency Planning, Mass Rescue Planning; Salvage and Recovery Planning; Continuity of Operations Planning; Combatant Commander Planning and Operations Planning. The incumbent oversees the design and conduct of exercises for a wide array of exercises and drills associated with all CG contingencies. The position introduces coordination with other interagency partners, State, Local and Tribal governments and other stakeholders
