NLine Energy, Inc. seeks to hire a Field Service Coordinator (Trainee) to be the first point of contact for field service requests and coordinate internal resources to perform planned and unplanned maintenance activities as well as also perform field service activities, upon successful completion of the training program.
Specific Duties:-Receive and respond to incoming calls from existing customers. -Field incoming calls related to system operation, service, warranty, and/or parts questions or requests.-Generate cost quotes to customers for specific needs (replacement parts, service visits, etc.), including vendor quotes for external manufactured parts and/or subcontractor quotes for services.-Manage Maintenance Agreements and Warranty Agreements-Track and monitor Agreement periods and payment schedules-Schedule service dates to coordinate with client schedules and maximize field service resources-Ensure service processes, documentation, and reporting are completed accurately -Maintain a current and accurate calendar for the field services team. -Plan, prioritize, and distribute service work to ensure efficient response to customer needs, startup and commissioning schedules, and service contract requirements.-Create detailed travel plans, including booking travel arrangements.-Reserve any equipment rentals needed and coordinate with subcontractors or other external partners required to complete the service. -Manage the shipment of equipment and parts to customer sites, ensuring timely arrival.-Create technical support plans.-Ensure proper startup, commissioning, customer training, and documentation of new systems. -Inventory management-Access inventory levels in the ERP system to determine availability of spare/replacement parts in stock.-Order parts needed to fulfill customer requests and maintenance and warranty services. -Monitor and drive service performance including response time, system reliability, technician productivity, and customer satisfaction.-Recognize trends, research solutions, and make suggestions to improve efficiency and/or resolve complex technical issues, requiring coordination across engineering, field services, and project teams.-Support service revenue growth by identifying new service opportunities and coordinating with the sales team.-Collaborate with the accounting department regarding invoicing for parts and service.-Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, industry standards, and customer requirements.-Maintain knowledge and skills required to perform field maintenance activities and conduct planned maintenance activities.-Perform other duties, as required or requested.Experience & Requirements:-3+ years’ experience in roles as Mechanical Technician Assembler, Electrical Technician Assembler, Electromechanical Technician Assembler (experience with turbomachinery and supply chain management is a plus).-4+ years' experience in a technical service role, preferably with industrial customers-A technical degree or commensurate experience in industrial/technical field service-Ability to drive process improvements within multi-location and remote teams-Customer Service skills, including but not limited to effective listening and professional and respectful interpersonal communication, both verbal and written.-Adept at multi-tasking, prioritizing, and working calmly under pressure-Self-motivated and highly organized-Positive attitude with the ability to adapt to change and work among -Must be able to work independently and among cross-functional teams-Computer literacy, including knowledge MS Office, and ability to quickly learn new software-Mechanical and electrical aptitude is preferred.-OEM service experience is a plus.-Willingness to travel ~25% of the time.
