ABOUT THE JOB

The SkillBridge program for Applications Software provides real-world experience in full-stack development and software lifecycle management. Participants will help design user interfaces, write and debug secure code, and apply TSA software development standards. They will gain experience with CASE tools, version control, testing methodologies, and legacy system modernization. Interns leave with tangible deliverables, such as software prototypes and documentation for federal readiness.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure software applications.
• Translate functional needs into technical solutions using industry-standard development tools and environments.
• Debug, document, and enhance application features while ensuring software reliability.
• Contribute to software architecture planning and the integration of reusable components.
• Design user interfaces, write and debug secure code, and apply TSA software development standards.
• Gain experience with CASE tools, version control, testing methodologies, and legacy system modernization.
• Produce tangible deliverables such as software prototypes and documentation for federal readiness.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in full-stack development and software lifecycle management.
