Business Development Internship

Essnova Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Business Development Analyst to support business development, capture, and growth initiatives across federal markets with the opportunity to extend growth further. This role provides critical administrative, analytical, and coordination support to senior business development leadership and proposal teams, ensuring opportunities are tracked, communications are organized, and growth activities move forward efficiently. The Business Development Analyst will work closely with Business Development Managers, Capture Managers, Proposal Managers, and leadership to support opportunity identification, pipeline management, and pre-proposal activities.

ABOUT THE JOB

Key Responsibilities Business Development & Pipeline Support Assist with identifying and tracking new business opportunities across federal portals (e.g., SAM.gov), client sites, and industry sources, utilizing Click-Up and Slack accordingly Maintain and update the opportunity pipeline, including capture status, deadlines, and key data points. Managing timelines and date with the Business Development Manager Support market research related to agencies, competitors, and contract vehicles Track client and partner interactions to support relationship management Utilize Click-Up, Hubspot, and internal systems to capture data and manage tasks Fluency in AI systems and utilization of AI within said systems Capture & Proposal Support Support capture planning activities by organizing materials, schedules, and documentation Coordinate proposal inputs, track action items, and support internal deadlines Assist with preparation of pre-proposal materials such as opportunity summaries and compliance checklists Support proposal reviews and follow-up actions Administrative & Coordination Support Schedule meetings and maintain calendars related to BD and capture activities Prepare meeting notes, summaries, and action items Maintain organized digital file structures for BD, capture, and proposal documentation Assist with pipeline and status reporting Process & Continuous Improvement Assist in documenting and refining BD and capture processes Support CRM, SharePoint, or tracking tool updates Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, organization, and communication

RESPONSIBILITIES✨
