This SkillBridge internship opportunity with Atrium Health for the role of EMS clinician Intern (EMT/AEMT/NRP), focused on strengthening prehospital knowledge, skills, and abilities and facilitating a seamless transition to civilian EMS.

ABOUT THE JOB

Requires handling of patients that may have infectious diseases, possible exposure to unpleasant conditions and/or handling of contaminated materials and/or patients. Requires ability to function in high stress situations. Must have critical thinking skills that enable the employee to make rapid, appropriate decisions that ensure the safety of both the crew and patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES✨

QUALIFICATIONS✨

• Must have national registry/state EMS license or have the ability to obtain by the end of SkillBridge Internship
• Ability to function in high stress situations
• Critical thinking skills that enable the employee to make rapid, appropriate decisions
