SkillBridge at Bain & Company

As a SkillBridge Participant, you will work as an integral part of our consulting teams over 10-weeks during the summer 2025. You will support strategic projects across various industries, collaborating closely with teammates and clients to deliver high-impact solutions. This role provides unique access to Bain's world-class resources and training programs, preparing you for a smooth transition into the consulting field. The SkillBridge Program at Bain offers a rich consulting experience tailored to your background and goals. This program is being hosted in out Chicago, Austin, Dallas and Houston Offices.

ABOUT THE JOB

Over the course of the summer, you will work directly with case teams and clients to solve business problems and drive change, being immersed in the responsibilities of a full-time Bain consultant, including...• Working closely with full-time consultants [who will provide coaching and mentoring]• Working with clients from Fortune 500 companies, midsize firms, non-profits and start-ups across many fast-changing industries such as consumer goods and retail, technology and telecommunication, financial services, industrial products, private equity and many others• Presenting the results of your work to Partners and clients• Applying knowledge and skills from your first year of business school, you will gain access to an unparalleled range and depth of opportunities

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work directly with case teams and clients to solve business problems and drive change
• Work closely with full-time consultants who provide coaching and mentoring
• Work with clients from Fortune 500 companies, midsize firms, non-profits, and start-ups across various industries
• Present results of work to Partners and clients

QUALIFICATIONS

• Active-duty service member eligible for DoD SkillBridge, within 6 months of separation from the military
• Demonstrated analytical abilities with a strong comfort level working with data and quantitative information
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• A desire to learn about management consulting and gain practical experience in a dynamic business setting
• Experience leading projects, working within teams, and delivering high-impact results
• Fluency in English
• Proof of graduation from a 4-year undergrad program or other advanced degree programs
