Vets RISE: Human Resource Specialist

ABOUT THE JOB

In this role, you will build the core competencies needed to launch a civilian Human Resources career through a 13-week virtual fellowship. You will develop a foundation in HR principles, employment law, compensation, and analytics, then apply it to recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and performance management. You will gain hands-on experience with key HR and workplace systems, including BambooHR, Workday, Salesforce, and Microsoft tools, while preparing for certifications such as the PHR. Supported by weekly coaching and an active job search, you will finish ready to transition confidently into a civilian HR role.

RESPONSIBILITIES✨
