Some travel to job sites are required across South GA and to east AL. Company Truck will be provided for travel.
A Platinum Roofing Quality Control job involves ensuring all roofing projects meet high standards through detailed inspections, monitoring installations, collaborating with teams (PMs, crews, customers), identifying defects, documenting issues, and upholding company/industry quality benchmarks, often requiring field work in varied weather and technical knowledge of materials and codes. Key duties include pre-job planning, on-site monitoring, customer communication, reporting, and coordinating with the office, ultimately supporting QA/QC processes and warranty programs. Key ResponsibilitiesInspection & Monitoring: Conduct roof inspections, perform moisture surveys, read blueprints, and monitor crew work to ensure adherence to project specs and quality standards.Reporting & Documentation: Create detailed inspection reports, document deficiencies, provide photos, and submit reports to the office in a timely manner.Collaboration: Work with project managers, customer service, field crews, and subcontractors to address issues and ensure smooth project flow.Customer Service: Engage with customers to explain processes, discuss issues, and verify satisfaction, often delivering warranties.Process Improvement: Provide feedback to enhance inspection processes and stay updated on industry standards, certifications, and new technologies.Site Management: Participate in pre-job planning, site safety planning, and coordinate job details between the field and office.Warranty Support: Help manage and support warranty programs by ensuring quality installations.
