The Transition to Trades program teaches students how to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems. Students will learn about the tools, materials and equipment used within the industry; safety codes and procedures; building and industry specific codes; system theory and operations; diagnostic techniques; and proper repair procedures through hands-on practical application in the labs. Our labs house fully operational electrical, plumbing and HVAC residential systems that replicate common system malfunctions providing real world experience to the students. Course graduates will qualify as an apprentice and HVAC students will receive their HVAC National EPA certification. Upon completion of the training, graduates are guaranteed an interview with one of the regions leading home-service providers or with one of our partner contractors. We will assist you with job placement nationwide.
Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair heating, central air conditioning, HVAC, or refrigeration systems. Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures ensuring that work is in accordance with relevant codes. Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair pipelines or pipe systems that carry water, steam, air, or other liquids or gases.
