We are seeking motivated individuals to join our "Train the Trainer" – Trainer, Course Developer, and Program Manager Intern Program. This SkillBridge opportunity prepares transitioning service members for roles in training, curriculum development, and program coordination across a variety of industries. Participants will receive on-the-job training and mentorship, with opportunities to shadow professionals, build industry networks, and develop essential skills for a successful transition to civilian employment.Our team includes retired military personnel and experienced professionals who provide valuable guidance and support throughout the process. While prior experience in in-person training, law enforcement, military service, curriculum development, or corporate training (in-house or remote) is preferred, it is not required. We welcome applicants with a passion for training and development and a willingness to learn.
The intern will be responsible for delivering effective training sessions that prepare participants to become skilled trainers. This role involves utilizing various teaching strategies and facilitating learning in a way that fosters a positive, engaging, and inclusive environment. The trainer will guide participants through the preparation, delivery, and evaluation phases, ensuring they acquire the competencies needed to succeed as trainers.The course developer component involves designing and structuring comprehensive educational programs and course materials. This includes advanced planning, curriculum refinement, and alignment with program objectives to ensure materials are engaging, informative, and outcomes-driven. The course developer will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to synthesize technical and instructional content into high-quality deliverables.Additionally, the Program Manager Intern will gain exposure to operational aspects of delivering training programs for clients in law enforcement, the Department of War, and the private sector. Interns will have opportunities to contribute to the development of training initiatives for new sites and support functions, including human resources, marketing, and research and development.
