RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing waterfront support to afloat naval platforms
- Testing and troubleshooting HF systems
- Performing on-platform installation, troubleshooting, and testing of naval communication systems and equipment
- Performing system-level software testing to validate operational readiness
- Performing inspection and testing of installed antennas and antenna lines
- Repairing electronics assemblies, cables, systems
- Assisting in troubleshooting and repairing antennas
- Providing written and/or oral status updates of current system evolution and support to LANT/PAC Fleet platforms
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work on waterfront platforms during all seasons
- Understanding of networking concepts
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical reports and drawings
- Strong ability to meet deadlines
