Helicopter Final Assembly Line Mechanical Technician. The technician will be responsible for installing all mechanical parts on the assembly of the helicopter, such as rotor head, transmissions, engines, hydraulic lines and flight controls, working in areas that may be cramped and/or little room. The technician will work from engineering drawings and job cards and follow the production schedule.The technician must be able to work through obstacles and know the best method to perform the job.
ABOUT THE JOB
Perform job in amount of time given. Follow Engineering Drawings and Revisions. Install assemblies with accuracy. Clearly document work performed, control equipment status tags, log critical information during installation, verify parts requests, etc. installing all mechanical parts on the assembly of the helicopter, such as rotor head, transmissions, engines, hydraulic lines and flight controls, working in areas that may be cramped and/or little room.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install all mechanical parts on the assembly of the helicopter including rotor head, transmissions, engines, hydraulic lines, and flight controls.
- Work in cramped or confined spaces.
- Follow engineering drawings and job cards to complete installations.
- Follow the production schedule.
- Document work performed, manage control equipment status tags, log critical information during installation, and verify parts requests.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 to 5 years of mechanical aviation production experience.
- Knowledge of rotary or fixed wing aircraft.
- General overall knowledge of aviation mechanics.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY
3 to 5 years of mechanical aviation production. Knowledge of rotary or fixed wing.General overall knowledge of aviation mechanics.
