Associate Vice President, Wealth Advisor - Focus TeamFarther is a rapidly growing RIA combining expert advisors with cutting-edge technology to deliver comprehensive, tailored wealth management experiences. We're backed by top-tier venture capital firms and led by innovators from the private wealth industry.Your SkillBridge Experience:This 12-week internship provides hands-on training in:Client Acquisition & Development (Weeks 1-3, 7-8): Learn targeted outreach to high-net-worth prospects through digital and traditional channels. Master prospecting techniques including cold calling, LinkedIn/ZoomInfo utilization, and webinar coordination. Develop skills to build and manage client pipelines while crafting compelling presentations showcasing Farther's value proposition.Financial Advisory Services (Weeks 2-5, 9-10): Gain comprehensive knowledge of investment products (equities, bonds, ETFs, mutual funds, alternatives), retirement accounts (401k, Traditional/Roth IRA, brokerage), and tax-efficient strategies. Learn portfolio construction using BlackRock modeling tools, understand concentrated position risks, and master retirement planning including pension analysis, Social Security optimization, and withdrawal strategies.Technical Platform Mastery (Weeks 6, 9, 11): Become proficient in CRM systems (HubSpot), financial planning software (RightCapital), custodial platforms (Fidelity/Schwab), and alternative investment platforms (iCapital/CAIS). Learn to leverage technology to deliver superior client experiences.Business Development (Weeks 7-8, 12): Identify market opportunities, cultivate referral networks, and participate in client education events.
