NASK SkillBridge Intern Program - Internship Program

At NASK, we’re growing, building great teams, and doing exciting work. You will have a background in C++ development. You will have the opportunity to work closely with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) engineers and other domain experts to both develop new tools and improve existing ones. Any knowledge of signal processing techniques and algorithms, a strong math background - particularly knowledge of Fourier transforms or linear algebra, knowledge of geolocation techniques, or general familiarity with RF physics will make for the most successful candidate. You will be able to rapid prototyping, develop, modify, and improve a suite of signal processing tools, as well as implement real-time signal processing algorithms on Linux-based SDR platforms while supporting customer needs and requirements, and analyzing and troubleshooting system performance. Candidate must possess a current TS/SCI clearance.

ABOUT THE JOB

Required Qualifications: MUST be transitioning US Military personnel with your COMMAND'S approval for this program. In lieu of a degree, relevant work experience. Ability to quickly learn new software and technical subjects. We focus on developing systems for the Intelligence and Defense communities. C++ experience, comfortable in a Linux development environment. QUALIFICATIONS✨

• 5+ years of work experience developing engineering solutions to collect, process, and exploit RF signals.
• Extensive knowledge of communications and/or radar signal processing techniques.
• Proficient in C/C++.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Systems development experience within the Intelligence and Defense communities.
• Familiarity with Code Management (e.g., Git).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• B.S. or higher (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY

Must be a U.S. citizen and possess an active TS/SCI clearance. Ability to quickly learn new software and technical subjects. Work well in both a team environment and executing individual tasks. Experience working in an operational environment desired.
