The Automotive Service Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of our specialized auto repair shop. We focus on European and performance vehicles, delivering high-quality repairs and exceptional service. This leadership role is ideal for experienced professionals transitioning from military service who want to apply their technical expertise and leadership skills in a dynamic, high-end automotive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all day-to-day shop operations, including scheduling, workflow, and bay utilization for European and performance vehiclesLead, mentor, and develop a team of skilled automotive techniciansManage inventory, parts sourcing, and vendor relationships (with emphasis on European/performance parts)Monitor financial performance using KPIs, labor efficiency, and profitability metricsEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction through transparent communication and timely serviceMaintain strict adherence to safety standards, OSHA, EPA, and industry regulationsImplement marketing and customer retention strategies to drive business growthConduct performance reviews, training, and team development initiativesPrepare reports and forecasts for upper managementQualifications & RequirementsLeadership Experience: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams (military leadership strongly preferred)Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive repair and diagnostics, with experience or interest in European and performance vehicles highly valuedOperations Experience: Familiarity with shop management software, scheduling, and inventory controlBusiness Acumen: Basic knowledge of financials, budgeting, and profitabilityCustomer Focus: Excellent communication and problem-solving skillsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent required; ASE certifications and/or associate degree preferredAvailability: Flexible schedule normally 8 to 4 Monday Through Friday What We OfferCompetitive salary + performance bonusesComprehensive benefits packageSkill Bridge training pathway (26 weeks / 180 days) for qualified candidatesOngoing professional development and ASE certification supportOpportunity to work on premium European and performance vehicles in a growing shop
