Saddle River Range Internship
The Program is intended to give future management employees experience in all aspects of day-to-day operation throughout the organization. This willprepare the intern for either operating their own Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) gunsmithing or retail shop, or for management roles at Saddle River Range or other firearms related operations.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Program is intended to give future management employees experience in all aspects of day-to-day operation throughout the organization. This will prepare the intern for either operating their own Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) gunsmithing or retail shop, or for management roles at Saddle River Range or other firearms related operations. This training provides no salary and does not require additional funding. Salary in the region for a similar type of position could range from $50,000-$80,000. Intern can be expected to lift up to 50lbs, perform repetitive tasks, interact with other managers, associates, and customers, need to be punctual, organized, attentive to detail, willing to learn, and participate in all store activities. Participant will provide their own transportation to the Armory. Workdays will vary, include weekends and evening, but will not exceed 40 hours per week. Intern is expected to dress appropriately in business casual attire and will be provided any protective equipment needed for range operations. Intern will be expected to revise and produce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for each department to gauge learning. Intern will spend time in retail, gun range, gunsmith, archery, and administration. The intern will receive an in depth overview of store operations and understand the intricacies involved in running a firearms based business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare for operating a Federal Firearms Licensed gunsmithing or retail shop

- Spend time in retail, gun range, gunsmith, archery, and administration
