HUMC EMS Paramedic (Medic)

This program will prepare National Registered Paramedics for paramedic licensure in New Jersey. Service members will perform the tasks of 9-1-1 advanced life support response and interfacility critical care transport in collaboration with a critical care transport registered nurse.

ABOUT THE JOB

HMH Paramedics provide advanced life support care to patients who request emergency services through 9-1-1. HMH Paramedics also support interfacility transfer operations, serving on a crew with a registered nurse, and in some cases an EMT. Paramedics have the ability to train and be considered for future employment as a flight paramedic.

RESPONSIBILITIES✨

• Provide advanced life support care to patients who request emergency services through 9-1-1.
• Support interfacility transfer operations, serving on a crew with a registered nurse and sometimes an EMT.
• Perform tasks of 9-1-1 advanced life support response and interfacility critical care transport in collaboration with a critical care transport registered nurse.

QUALIFICATIONS✨

• Must have a national registry paramedic certification.
• Ability to provide copies of schoolhouse records to obtain a NJ Paramedic license.
• Eligible for employment after the Skillbridge opportunity.
