CSWs provide the hands-on work in containment to execute primary side service activities. In addition to the responsibilities below they must be able to work in high dose and high contamination areas often in additional Protective clothing sometimes with various forms of respiratory protection.

ABOUT THE JOB

Responsibilities:Under the direction of knowledgeable technicians set up equipment to support SG Primary work. This will include running cables, staging equipment and material handling.Install and remove primary manways in accordance with approved procedures.Install and remove nozzle covers either manually or remotely.Install and remove either PEGASYS or ROSA manipulators into the steam generators under the direction of the Control Station Operator (CSO).Perform platform support of eddy current, responsibilities include:Loading end effectors onto PEGASYS or ROSA manipulatorsChanging eddy current probes - must be able to recognize different eddy current probe typesAdding or removing conduit Platform support of plugging operations (either rolled or rib plug), responsibilities:Under the direction of the CSO perform calibration of plugging tools.Loading plugs onto end effectorsLoading end effectors onto PEGASYS or ROSA manipulators

RESPONSIBILITIES✨

• Set up equipment to support SG Primary work under the direction of knowledgeable technicians, including running cables, staging equipment, and material handling.
• Install and remove primary manways in accordance with approved procedures.
• Install and remove nozzle covers either manually or remotely.
• Install and remove either PEGASYS or ROSA manipulators into the steam generators under the direction of the Control Station Operator (CSO).
• Perform platform support of eddy current, including loading end effectors onto PEGASYS or ROSA manipulators, changing eddy current probes, and adding or removing conduit.
• Platform support of plugging operations, including calibration of plugging tools under the direction of the CSO, and loading plugs and end effectors onto manipulators.

QUALIFICATIONS✨

• Ability to work in high dose and high contamination areas.
• Must be able to wear additional protective clothing and various forms of respiratory protection.
• Ability to pass an extensive background check as well as drug and alcohol testing.
