Job SummaryThe Business Development Associate will support Jaco Aerospace’s efforts to grow revenue by developing new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with existing customers in the aerospace industry. This role focuses on daily outreach, customer engagement, and opportunity management to help expand our customer base and support company growth. The Business Development Manager will work cross-functionally with Sales, Procurement, and Leadership to drive consistent business development activityCustomer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with current customers. Engage regularly to understand their needs, resolve issues, and identify opportunities to increase account value. Participate in customer site visits as needed.Lead Generation & Outreach: Identify and contact new potential customers in the aerospace sector. Introduce Jaco Aerospace’s capabilities through targeted outreach, networking, and digital engagement on platforms such as LinkedIn.Sales Tracking: Maintain accurate and organized customer and lead information within Salesforce. Track outreach activity, opportunity stages, and customer responses to support a structured sales process.KPI Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators including: Lead dwell time, outreach-to-RFQ conversion rate, customer engagement metrics. Provide regular updates to leadership.Sales Execution: Carry out daily sales activities to achieve outreach and engagement goals. Support quoting and opportunity follow-up processes.Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with Procurement and Sales teams to ensure aligned messaging and a smooth lead-to-order handoff.Market Awareness: Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity. Share relevant insights with the team.Event & Trade Show Support: Represent Jaco Aerospace at industry events and trade shows to generate leads and promote brand visibility.Post-Engagement Follow-up: Ensure customer satisfaction through timely follow-ups and identify additional growth opportunities.
