Contour Aviation is offering a SkillBridge opportunity for transitioning service members interested in civilian aircraft maintenance operations. Participants will gain hands-on experience in both FAA Part 135 and Part 145 environments while working alongside certified technicians and inspectors in a real-world maintenance setting.Training includes exposure to aircraft inspections, troubleshooting, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, servicing, and maintenance documentation practices within both line and hangar maintenance operations.
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Trainee) supports certified technicians and inspectors in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of aircraft operating under FAA Part 135 and Part 145 environments.This role provides hands-on exposure to:Scheduled and unscheduled maintenanceTroubleshooting and corrective actionsAircraft inspections and servicingComponent removal and installationMaintenance documentation and regulatory complianceHangar and line maintenance operationsParticipants will work alongside experienced maintenance personnel in a structured training environment designed to develop practical skills and familiarity with civilian aviation maintenance operations.
