The SkillBridge Intern position at Battle Sight is a 151-180 day training program that transitions military service members into defense research and development through comprehensive hands-on experience. The intern progresses from foundational training in shop safety and product development to participating an independent Internal Research & Development (IR&D) project while learning project management, budgeting, and proposal writing. Working closely with Battle Sight's leadership team and a peer mentor, the intern gains practical knowledge across the company's entire operation, from mechanical and electrical design to business development.
We are hiring for many different types of SkillBridge internship opportunities such as Business Development, Production Technician, Research and Development Engineers, Product Design Engineers and others on an as needed basis.
