The Human Resources Associate performs entry-level work in Recruitment, Compensation, Position Management, Leave Management, and general customer support. The Skillbridge participant will have the opportunity to learn to function as a member of a Human Resources team for a large organization. Throughout the Training Period, the participant will work toward delivering on tasks and initiatives that require critical thinking, independent judgment, and problem-solving skills, with support from Senior-level Human Resources Business Partners.
Maricopa County is seeking a Skillbridge-eligible service member to shadow our Human Resources Business Partners and learn to function as a member of a Human Resources team within a large and complex organization. During the internship, the Skillbridge participant will work toward delivering on tasks and initiatives that require critical thinking, independent judgment, and problem-solving skills. Instruction will be provided on leave management, performance management, recruitment, onboarding, and other critical areas of human capital management.

Work will be performed in and around downtown Phoenix, Arizona. Most days, the intern will report in to 301 W. Jefferson Street in Phoenix.
