The Registered Nurse (RN) position is located at the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System in Geriatrics and Extended Care. The RN's functions are to provide nursing care to Veterans within the Community Living Center (CLC) to include Hospice, Dementia, short-stay rehabilitation, and Long-stay care.
Duties include but are not limited to:- Willing to work cooperatively as a member of the assigned team and demonstrate customer service principles in all aspects of work.- Will perform job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital procedures.- Reports to the CLC Nurse Manager and Assistant Nurse Manager, but must work in collaboration with the Charge Nurses, Staff Nurses, Nursing Assistants, Medical Support Assistants, Social Workers, Minimum Data Set Coordinators, Restorative and Recreational care, and Providers of the assigned team.
Active, unincumbered nursing license.
