GrayLineX Business Development Representative
This 25-week, full-time SkillBridge internship prepares transitioning service members for entry-level roles in drone assembly, maintenance, and technical support. Interns gain hands-on experience building and repairing FPV drones, conducting diagnostics, and supporting customer and product inquiries. The program emphasizes deep knowledge of drone components, troubleshooting procedures, and effective communication with end users. Graduates are equipped to work in drone manufacturing, repair, customer support, or field technician roles in both commercial and defense sectors.
ABOUT THE JOB
The FPV Drone Technician is responsible for assembling, repairing, testing, and maintaining small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS), with a focus on First-Person View (FPV) platforms. This position supports internal development, quality control, and customer-facing technical support. Interns will work hands-on with soldering tools, diagnostic equipment, and FPV components (flight controllers, ESCs, motors, frames, antennas, VTX/receivers, etc.). They will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, perform bench tests, and document product performance. The role also includes assisting customers with product recommendations and post-sales support. This position provides foundational experience for careers in drone manufacturing, UAS field maintenance, and product support engineering.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assembling, repairing, testing, and maintaining small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS), focusing on First-Person View (FPV) platforms.
- Supporting internal development, quality control, and customer-facing technical support.
- Working hands-on with soldering tools, diagnostic equipment, and FPV components such as flight controllers, ESCs, motors, frames, antennas, VTX/receivers.
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing bench tests, and documenting product performance.
- Assisting customers with product recommendations and post-sales support.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Foundational understanding of FPV drone systems.
- Hands-on experience as hobbyists or builders of drones.
- Preference for service members with experience in UAS operations, maintenance, or technical support roles.
- Passion for drone technology and eagerness to refine technical skills.

Applicants should have a foundational understanding of FPV drone systems and demonstrate hands-on experience as hobbyists or builders. Preference is given to service members who have performed UAS operations, maintenance, or technical support roles during their military service. Ideal candidates are passionate about drone technology, eager to refine their technical skills, and interested in supporting both internal operations and customer-facing product support in a fast-paced startup environment.
