Estimating/Project Management Construction On the job

This position will receive training on HCSS, Heavy Bid and Heavy Job, AgTek and Blue Beam. They will learn to read blueprints, how to perform take offs for underground utility work, learn about mass grading/earth work takeoffs and foundation excavation takeoffs, as well as learn how to compile bids for projects. This is a hands-on position that allows one to develop the skills needed to become an Estimator/Project Manager.

ABOUT THE JOB

Provide support for the project management team in developing opportunities. Provide assistance with the estimating process, and management of projects through completion. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive training on HCSS, Heavy Bid and Heavy Job, AgTek, and Blue Beam
• Learn to read blueprints and perform take offs for underground utility work
• Learn about mass grading/earth work takeoffs and foundation excavation takeoffs
• Compile bids for projects
• Provide support for the project management team in developing opportunities
• Assist with the estimating process
• Manage projects through completion

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have or be working towards a degree in construction management or similar field
• Must possess valid driver's license
