ABOUT THE JOB
In partnership with the National Red Cross, each U.S.VETS' site will have the opportunity to train veterans (from each site) CPR and AED. This will take a coordinated effort with POCs at each site and the Project Manager of the DOD Skillbridge Program. The goal will be to recruit veteran clients for the CPR and AED Certification Program, get them certified preferably before they leave U.S.Vets. The Skillbridge Intern will work closely with Dr. Price Noble to coordinate trainings in D. C., Houston, Phoenix, Prescott, Las Vegas, California and Hawaii sites.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate AED and CPR trainings between sites and veteran clients with the National Red Cross
- Work with POCs at each site and the Project Manager of the DOD Skillbridge Program
- Recruit veteran clients for the CPR and AED Certification Program
- Ensure veterans get certified preferably before they leave U.S.Vets
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to coordinate training programs
- Experience working with veterans is beneficial
- Capability to work with multiple stakeholders across various locations
